I got started in computers by teaching myself about them.
I bought and read many books and over a period of 3 months, I had enough knowledge to get my first job in this incredible industry. Without any prior knowledge, I turned a life of truck driving into the best years so far.I began as a Helpdesk Technician and with the help of the Network Administrator, acquired experience in the LAN area. After a year of working with in that environment, I acquired a position in Downtown Chicago with a much larger LAN that also included a Worldwide WAN. Since then I have become the Network Engineer managing 37 local NT Servers and a Check Point Firewall used to protect my network from the outside world.

This is a great day for me, as today I started, T-N-T Total Network Technologies Inc After 6 years as an employee, I have been given the opportunity to work for myself. Of course without client a consultant is eating off the streets, so many thanks to the client.
