This magnificent aircraft is a Mooney A-36 owned and operated by my brother-in-law, Bill. I have flown with him on occasion.
Here is BMI, Bloomington, IL where I flew with a couple of friends on their first flight with me. This was taken at 1500' just North of the field, but still within the Class D airspace. We had to get permission from the tower to do this. It was well worth it.
